Graphic Novel sketching

The past 3 weeks I rebegun my work illustrating the rough scenes for my upcoming Graphic novel, Solomon Fireweed.
I am currently working on the City of Books scene, the part where they are looking for the Book of the North Order. Flyndor takes Sol and the crew up to his study where they discover the ancient book. Sol recognizes the copper sword painting up on the wall and inquires about it.
I am really looking forward to this story. Its got that epic, coming of age theme and is unique to the North given my experience growing up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories for the past 22 ish years.
Just this morning I started continuing sketching for the scene and two hours whizzed right by! Its time to take a break now and go outside and enjoy some fresh air before I eventually come back to work on it some more.
Next I will continue sketching the scene of the City of Books right through when Ravenhill appears and wrecks havock, to when Sol retrieves the book and is carried along RAvehills grasp out into the sky. Eventually the crew reunites outside on the shore, panicked and inquiring Sol what happened. He had fallen into the water, unconcious, with the book, and something, somehow brought him back to the shore....
Stay tuned for behind the scenes of this graphic novel.
